Dr. Linh Huynh is Boston Center for Memory's (BCM) Operations & Business Manager and Pharmacy Research Manager.
In these roles, she is responsible for the oversight and management of the pharmacy aspect of clinical trials and managing the day to day business operations of the center.
As BCM's Operations & Business Manager, Dr. Huynh focuses on strategy and implementing operating procedures to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work performance for BCM's staff in the clinical center and research program. She is also responsible for managing the financial aspects of the center including budgets, contracts, vendor management, and bookkeeping.
As BCM's pharmacy research manager, oversight includes preparation and management of various investigational therapies pertaining to neurodegenerative conditions for Phase II and Phase III clinical protocols. She also supervises pharmacy postdoctoral fellows and interns at BCM. Dr. Huynh has focused on growing the pharmacy operations at BCM with an expansion for a larger pharmacy anticipated for 2022.
Dr. Huynh completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical research at BCM. During her fellowship, Dr. Huynh gained clinical research experience through her involvement in various aspects of the clinical trials, including research coordination, budgeting, and preparation and accountability of investigational therapies. Prior to her fellowship experience, she was responsible for preparation and management of investigational disease modifying therapies.
Dr. Huynh has experience in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical settings through various placements during graduate school. She also worked as a Medical Scientific Intern at the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter, where she gained her knowledge and passion for neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Huynh also worked as a scientific writer for AG The Apotheker Group before joining BCM.
Dr. Huynh earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University. She earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Fitchburg University.
