Re: COVID-19

Dear Patients, Families, & Caregivers of BCM,

We have been taking all precautions regarding COVID-19 including checking the Center for Disease Control website, which has detailed advice for businesses operating in the current conditions. We are wiping down the clinic throughout the day including door handles, pens, desks, counter tops and phones. We are not shaking hands and our staff is instructed not to come in if they are feeling ill or have any symptoms. If any of our staff are traveling to any high risk areas we ask that they quarantine themselves for two weeks upon their return. As you may have heard last night, all travel to and from Europe has been suspended. If you have a clinical appointment scheduled, please notify us if you are feeling ill. We can reschedule your follow up appointment to a later date. If you are participating in a clinical trial and feeling ill, please contact your coordinator immediately and we will work with the sponsor to postpone your study visit. We have requested all sponsors to provide us with their recommendations on how to proceed.

Please let us know if you or someone you are in contact with or has been exposed to anyone confirmed as having COVID-19. If you have an urgent clinical matter or research matter, please contact our clinical director, Dr. Paul Solomon at 413-281-0577 and we will work diligently to address it while taking all precautions to keep you and our staff healthy.

Additionally, we have been notified that our building at 180 Wells is making an effort to further reduce the spread of COVID-19 by adding more anti-bacterial hand soaps within the common restrooms. They have also increased the time spent at the property by their cleaning contractor to further disinfect and sanitize.
