Pharmacy Clinical Research Intern

Melanie Nguyen is a Pharmacy Research Intern at Boston Center for Memory, in which she assists the Pharmacy Research Manager in the preparation, handling, and accountability of Investigational Products for infusion-based clinical trials, following the Good Clinical Practices and study protocol guidelines.

Melanie is employed as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens Pharmacy as well as Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is dedicated to providing quality care to patients which includes preparing medications to improve their medical conditions. While she currently has two traditional pharmacy jobs at a retail and hospital setting, she aims to gain clinical research experience.

 

Melanie is currently enrolled at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (MCPHS) University in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. She has an interest in drug research and seeing how clinical trials are conducted. At BCM, she aspires to gain more knowledge and experience working in a clinical research setting by contributing to the development of new drugs.
