Dr. Meena Huh is completing a postdoctoral pharmacy fellowship at Boston Center for Memory (BCM). She is responsible for the preparation and accountability of investigational therapies. She also continues to manage clinical research trials and is currently considering her electives as part of her fellowship.
Dr. Huh began her career at BCM as a clinical research coordinator, In this role, she managed Phase II and Phase III clinical trials investigating pharmacotherapy (predominantly symptomatic and disease modifying treatments) for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and mild to moderate stage Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Dr. Huh received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University. During her pursuit of the degree, she worked in many different clinical and retail pharmacy settings: Veterans Affairs Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Cambridge Health Alliance, Harbor Health Services, and Stop N Shop Pharmacy. Through her work experience in pharmacies, she found her passion in helping patients.
Dr. Huh also has experience in the pharmaceutical industry in several international locations - Cambridge, Shanghai, and Seoul. Upon graduation, she worked as a Project Manager in UNITES Inc., a regulatory consulting company. She was the assistant project manager for pediatric rare disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle wasting genetic disease that first manifests around age 4.
